| According to the environmental assessment conducted under the aegis of the World Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the production at the Ovruch OMPE «Quartzite» is classified as a risk category III. It is the evidence of the fact, that production of this company has minimum influence on people and environment. |

| The Radiation Certificate, issued by the Ministry of Health Care of 05.07.2000, certifies that the applications of the quartzite may cover all industries (metallurgy, ferroalloy production and refractory production, construction etc.) with no limitations. |

Having such unique properties, quartzite, in contrast to granite, doesn't have natural radiation background and doesn't accumulate radiation.
Nowadays it is especially urgent for application it in major construction works, building of houses, schools, hospitals, and also in road constructions and in water purification structures. |

Speaking about the environmental issue, in particular, about impacts of the production on general environmental situation in Zhytomir region, we may confidently state that the production of ground and crushed quartzite is not related to any chemical, radiation or other contamination of environment.
